Cookie policy

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies bajolupadigital.com uses, for what purpose and how you can manage them. It complements the legal notice and the privacy policy.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file the site stores in your browser to remember an action or a preference, such as the language you chose or whether you have already seen a notice. Some are set by the site itself (first-party cookies) and others by third-party services we use (third-party cookies). Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser; persistent cookies remain for the period indicated for each one.

2. Cookies this site uses

Technical or strictly necessary

They let the site work: remembering the language (Spanish or English) selected through Polylang, managing server caching with LiteSpeed Cache, keeping logged-in WordPress users’ sessions and protecting the contact form against automated submissions. They do not require consent because without them the site could not provide the service you request.

Performance and analytics

They help us learn which case files are read, from which country and through which channel, including the AI assistants that cite our work. If we enable an analytics tool, it will be listed here with its name, purpose and data retention period. As of the date of this policy, the site does not set third-party analytics cookies.

Embedded third parties

Some case files may embed third-party content, such as documents or videos hosted off-site. Those providers may set their own cookies when you interact with the embedded content. Their use is governed by each provider’s policies.

3. Duration

Technical session cookies expire when you close the browser. The Polylang language cookie is kept for one year. Cache cookies are short-lived, hours or days, and only serve to deliver the page faster.

4. How to manage or disable cookies

You can allow, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that if you block technical cookies, some features such as language switching may stop working normally. These are the official guides for the most common browsers:
